Moral DeLay

Meditation for the mind, yoga for the body. The nonsense doesn’t end, it mimics nature; it changes, continues, persists. What I know is that the sky outside is a clear, perfect blue magnificence. Breeze is icy almost like spring, not like autumn, not quite letting go of the warmth yet, not ready to come over to the chill.

It’s all changing.

Yesterday I read an article about the hedonistic politics of Tom DeLay, and the information was frightening. It’s funny, all of the craziness going on over in the Ukraine, the allegedly corrupted election, the reform candidate being robbed of his victory, and perhaps, even poisoned. How is the United States really any different? There are so many parallels (please excuse my lack of elucidation, but I’m tired and brain-weary) but we’ve got the military might so what happens here is excusable. Is tolerated (to a lesser degree by this world’s third class citizens, who don’t have much to lose anyway).

I can’t, I just can’t. Today I have taken on too much. I gave Atlas a brief rest, but I need to get on with the rest of my life this day. Going home soon, going for a run, going to visit my Nana and then eat eggplants, brown rice, kale, things that germinated in a dark, cool place and reached up into the sun for life. I will reconnect.
